Bonnie Milne Gardner has written over 40 scripts with productions in New York, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, North Carolina, Alaska, Texas, and California. A lifelong member of Dramatists Guild, and proud participant in Honor Roll!, Gardner received two Excellence in Playwriting awards from the Ohio Arts Council, and was produced at Cleveland Play House, San Diego’s Human Rights Theatre Festival, and Contemporary American Theatre Company. Her adaptation of Fashion! received an Equity staged reading at NYC’s New School for Drama. She has also worked professionally as a director, arts administrator, and dramaturg. Bonnie received her PhD in Theatre from Kent State University, and is professor emeritus of Ohio Wesleyan University, where she taught playwriting, theatre history, and dramatic literature. She currently coordinates the Stage Brews Workshop in the mountains of Asheville, NC.
